Vienna – City of Culture – In the Heart of Europe

Vienna is a pulsating city of culture which combines history and modernity. The city stands for artistic freedom and cultural diversity, and is thus most definitely on the side of art and artists.

Vienna is a paradise for art lovers:
There are over 120 museums and collectors exhibiting the very best art around. Well known establishments such as the museum of art history, the Albertina and the Austrian gallery at Belvedere, as well as the exhibition venues such as the Secession and KunstHausWien are ideally complemented by the lively gallery scene. Spectacular sights and attractions, a packed cultural programme for ever taste, plenty to see and do and an inimitable atmosphere all to contribute to make this city on the Danube a popular travel destination.
The roads, lanes, paths and alleyways in Vienna tell the story of the often turbulent history of Vienna to every visitor. Vienna’ Stephansdom cathedral towers over the roofs of the city.

Vienna offers the perfect atmosphere for an international art fair, being situated at the heart of Europe at the interface between east and west.
