Youth, dynamism and versatility are three major qualities offered by the VIENNAFAIR, THE INTERNATIONAL CONTEMPORARY ART FAIR FOCUSED CENTRAL AND EASTERN EUROPE.
As this art fair is directed at the contemporary art scene in CEE/SEE countries, the VIENNAFAIR acts as a hub of activity between the east and the west and has established its own identity amongst the plethora of international art shows.

BRIDGE AREA
The focus on Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe is an essential component of the VIENNAFAIR.
For this reason galleries based in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania, Montenegro, Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina or Turkey are given a special opportunity to participate at the VIENNAFAIR, known as the BRIDGE AREA.
The Bridge Area was created to provide galleries from the above countries with a platform and to enable them to participate in the VIENNAFAIR at a special reduced price.

ESTABLISHED
Galerien die vor 2005 gegründet wurden, also länger als fünf Jahre bestehen, können sich für den Ausstellungsbereich ESTABLISHED bewerben.
Weiters besteht für Galerien in der Established categorie die Möglichkeit sich mit einer Partnergalerie für einen Gemeinschaftsstand zu bewerben. Mindestgröße für einen Gemeinschaftsstand sind 75 m2. Mindestens eine der Partnergalerien muss ihren Sitz im Ausland haben.
Standgröße: 50 m², 75 m², 100 m², oder 125 m²
YOUNG
Galleries founded in or after 2006 – in existence for no longer than 5 years – can apply to exhibit in the YOUNG section.useums, institutions and collections from both home and abroad are important partners of the VIENNAFAIR.
Stand size: 25m² or 35m²
ZONE1 – Section for single presentations
ZONE1 was initiated in 2007 to enable especially young galleries and artists to participate in the VIENNAFAIR and is focused particularly on installations, sculptures and larger displays. The number of presentations accommodated by ZONE1 is limited.
The main precondition is the presentation of one artist only, no older than 40 years of age.

Museums, institutions and collections from both home and abroad are important partners of the VIENNAFAIR.
